Last September, Hulu became the first streaming service to acquire the Emmy for Outstanding Drama when its original streak Handmaid’s Tale bested traditional structure heavy-hitters like Westworld, Better Call Saul, and This Is Us. When it acquired, it seemed to be in part because it was the right substantiate at the right time: the dystopic narration about women’s roles in the near future premiered only a few weeks after the Women’s March asserts in 2017.

Now Hulu is positioned to do it again.
